Stretch Mark Reduction
While many people believe that stretch marks are impossible to cure, stretch mark reduction is something that is achievable by everyone who is willing to persist. Persistance is really key to effective reduction in stretch mark appearance, as using something a few times randomly really doesn’t have the same effect as regularly applying whatever stretch mark remedy you have chosen to use. Nothing will be effective against stretch marks if it isn’t used as prescribed!
The Best Stretch Mark Reduction Treatment
To be honest, I have tried a lot of different things in my quest to reduce my own stretch marks, and believe me, I have a LOT of stretch marks. My favorite stretch mark reduction treatment is the Scientia Derma Roller.
Why do I love it so much? Because I can really see the results when I use it! I have tried so many different creams, oils etc. etc. some of which seem to be great at moisturizing my skin and improving its appearance, and some which may even have helped prevent more stretch marks from appearing, but none of which actually CURED my stretch marks! Now, I’ll be honest and admit that my stretch marks aren’t all gone – YET! However, I can see a definite improvement in the appearance of my skin since beginning with the Derma Roller. AND, what’s just as exciting, is that the derma roller has also reduced wrinkling on my skin as well. I believe that with continued use of the Derma Roller, not only will I remove all my stretch marks (or at least make them far, far less visible), I’ll also be able to halt the aging process much better, especially on my face and neck, where aging is starting to become really obvious. Exciting, isn’t it??!!
So, How Does it Work?
Basically, it assists the skin in building collagen and elastin, which are really important for both prevention and reduction of stretch marks. It helps to improve the elasticity of the skin, and in general keeps the skin looking supple and healthy. This is why the Derma Roller is also effective against wrinkles (and minor scarring). Basically, when run over the skin, the Derma Roller creates micro holes in the skin’s surface, which prompts the skin into a healing reaction. Usually, the body doesn’t consider stretch marks, wrinkles or scars as “damage”, after all, the body can function quite well with them. However, in creating micro holes, the body does believe it’s being damaged so it works to fix it. You’re basically FORCING your body to fix the scar tissue. This is incredibly powerful!
I believe I will continue using my Derma Roller until it wears out and I need a new one (in which case, I’ll buy one
) simply because of its beneficial effect not just on my stretch marks, but also on my skin in general. Every woman (and man!) should get a Derma Roller! It’s seriously one of the best devices ever invented, and I wish I had bought one years ago!
